De'Longhi Group website uses cookies to provide the user with a personalized access and to improve his/her navigation.

Kenwood Limited, provides information regarding the cookies used on the website https://www.braunhousehold.com/en-gb, also pursuant to General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter, "GDPR").

This document refers only to the Company's website and not to any other third parties' websites that may be consulted by the User through links. For more details related to the management of the Site, please refer to the De'Longhi Privacy Policy available at the following link.

Purpose of data processing

The Company may automatically collect and process, while browsing the Site, some information through the installation of cookies in the client or in the User's device, with the aim of providing and integrating the services and features offered by the Site (e.g. management of interactions with the User, improvement of user experience, sending of commercial communications in line with Users' needs and expectations).

The Company may process the above information to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns or to keep track of User's visits to the Site. For that purpose, the Company may install in the Site Third Parties’ cookies.

Below, the details regarding the different processing methods.

What is a Cookie?

Cookies consist of small text files, often including unique identifiers, that are sent by web servers to web browsers, and which may then be sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies are used for different purposes, have different characteristics, and can be used both by the owner of the Site (“first-party cookies”), or by third parties (“third-party cookies”)

Cookies allow a website to recognize your device. They have different purposes such as, for example, allowing you to navigate efficiently between pages, remembering your favorite sites and, in general, improving your browsing experience. They also help to ensure that the advertising content is more targeted to you and your interests.

The information recorded on User's device may be reused during the same visit to the Site ("session cookies") or later, even after days ("persistent cookies"). Cookies are stored, according to User's preferences, by the browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).

The information below relates to the Cookies installed by the Site and the necessary instructions on how to manage the user’s preferences about them.

Cookies used in the Site

Cookies used in the Site can be classified in technical, functional or advertising cookies:

A. Technical Cookies

These specific Cookies are related to activities that are strictly necessary for the proper operation of the Site and ensure the fruition/use of its services.

This type of cookies does not require User’s consent. These cookies are automatically installed when the User accesses the Site. Furthermore, technical cookies cannot be disabled using the functions of the Site. All modern browsers, however, allow you to change cookies settings and preferences. You can find these settings in the "options" or in the "preferences" menu of User's browser or you can use the "Help" option in the browser for more information.

In the event of blocking the use of these specific cookies, the service offered to the User through the Site will be limited, thereby affecting User’s experience of using the Site. For more information, please refer to the section "Manage the Cookies used by the Site" section of this document.

In this case the legal basis is represented bv Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f of GDPR, as this processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests. In doing so, we pursue the legitimate interest of personalizing the website for the user's visit and facilitating the use of the website.

For details regarding technical cookies (e.g. name, purpose of use and storage time) please refer to the following link

B. Functional Cookies

Functional cookies are used to collect information on how the Site is used. The information collected is, for example, about which pages of the Site the User visits most frequently, whether or not the User receives error messages.

Among the functional cookies configured within the Site there are also Third Party cookies. In particular, the Company uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., to monitor the use the Site in aggregate form through cookies. The User may inhibit the use of Cookies by Google Analytics by modifying the settings of his/her browser (for further information please refer to the paragraph "Managing the Cookies used by the Site"). This may have a negative impact by limiting Site functionalities. Google Analytics' privacy policy is available at: http://www.google.com/intl/it_ALL/analytics/learn/privacy.html.

Overall, functional cookies does not allow the direct identification of the website visitor. Any personal data collected is appropriately anonymized and aggregated for the definition of statistics aimed at optimizing the site performance and the User experience.

The installation of such cookies requires the prior acquisition of the free and explicit informed consent of the User, which the Site acquires through the banner that appears on the first visit of the same. For all the details concerning the modalities with which the User can give or withdraw the consent, please refer to the section "Manage the Cookies used by the Site". Any denial of consent to the use of functional cookies will not interfere with the possibility of accessing the Site, except for the impossibility of accessing those functions or contents that make use of such cookies.

In this case the legal basis is represented by art. 6 paragraph 1 letter a of GDPR, if the user has given his/her consent.
