Piri piri chicken with avocado-yoghurt sauce

  1. Cut the chicken breasts lengthways into 8 even pieces. Set aside in a plate until ready to marinate. Put the chillies and coriander in Braun’s MQ 20 chopper accessory. Attach to a suitable hand blender and roughly chop. Now transfer with the rest of the marinade ingredients into the MQ 40 chopper/ blender accessory and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces and put in the fridge for at least 10 minutes. Then heat a griddle pan and fry the chicken pieces over a high heat for 6-7 minutes on each side.
  3. For the avocado-yoghurt sauce, place the garlic in the MQ 20 chopper accessory, attach to the hand blender and just pulse one or two times. Peel and dice the avocados into 4 pieces and place with the chopped garlic and the rest of the ingredients in Braun’s 600 ml beaker. Attach the hand blender to its blending shaft and pulse to a light green puree, gradually starting from low to high speed. Serve immediately with the chicken.
